My gf and I played this in the weekend and it was a great way to spend our time together. It was super elaborate and intriguing trying to solve the case and pitch ideas together and advance in this activity. Highly recommended and worth every penny. We’ll definitely play the other investigation games as well!
We had so much fun playing this and even dressed the part as detectives to really immerse ourselves! We loved how interactive it was from the bank statements to websites to Facebook pages. I think we ended up digging into the details early on because we had our suspicions but we loved every task nonetheless. We immediately thought of Jonestown before even opening this! 10/10 will be getting another one!

This is our second game and we absolutely loved it. We recommend it to anyone who loves detective books/series. It makes for a fun date night, and we will definitely buy more games in the future.
I received the game as a Christmas gift for my partner. We were so excited that we played it the very next day! We had an amazing experience. It truly makes you feel somewhat like a movie detective. My favorite aspect was that the creators combined physical clues with online elements, which makes it feel even more immersive! I only thought the ending was a tad rushed, but perhaps that’s just my personal preference.
About us
Detective for a Day was founded in August 2021 because of our love of crime and true-crime. We've always wanted to investigate and solve a real crime case instead of watching others do it on TV, so we ended up developing a product that we've become extremely proud of.
Covid-19 forced us to to stay indoors a lot, and we wanted to create something new and exciting that partners, friends and families could do together at home.
After half a year of hard work, the first cases 'Murder at the Student Graduation' and 'Murder on the Luxury Yacht' were finished.
The most important thing for us was that the cases should be as realistic as possible, as well as engage and entertain our customers for hours. The cases we make are carefully constructed and planned down to the smallest detail with exciting characters and stories.
We hope you get as much pleasure from solving the cases as we did from making them. We release new cases a few times a year!
